Product
Blocsy is a rental furniture system made of blocks and panels, which can be assembled without tools into a wide range of configurations enabling users to build furniture to suit their size requirements. The Blocsy system allows for multiple cycles of assembly, disassembly and reassembly time and time again.
Blocsy can be rented in many forms to suit the needs of the consumer. For example,
1 – a student pack. A simple set which allows a user to build any 3 desired items such as bedside table, shoe rack, computer stand, footrest or coffee table.
2- a Blocsy kit. A simple kit of panels and blocks which a user can get creative with and use to build anything they want.
3- Several set items. We can also rent out as individual set items all of which can be offered in different sizes to suit the unique needs of our users. For example, Book shelves,computer monitor/tv stand, bedside table, shoe rack….
Service
When renting a Blocsy furniture item or kit, you do it on your terms – choose from our selection of rental models from 3 months to 3 years. Additionally, when you rent from us, you become part of the Blocsy family. This gives access to a platform for swapping or purchasing additional components and accessories ( hanging hooks, wheels, wall mounts +) to open up more functional possibilities.
Environment
We strive to be environmental champions. We reject the use of harmful laminated timber boards and strive to use natural FSC certified timbers which are as locally-sourced as possible. We believe companies, as a minimum, should replace materials they take from our planet. To do this, we strive to have one tree planted for every Blocsy product rented. Our aim is not only to replace but replenish, adding more resources back than we have used!
Community
We are community-driven – Too many sustainable solutions are priced at a level that excludes those on low incomes. To truly have an impact on sustainability, we need solutions which are affordable to as many people as possible. Blocsy strives to be so.
Any Blocsy Set purchase gives access to a community platform: The Blocsyverse – An inspirational space to see what great things others have created with Blocsy! Blocsy can be combined with other upcycled goods to create simple, stylish yet functional items, again and again.
